Tree Registration Code. You should have received a Tree Registration Code from the Acorn Study after you registered your oak tree. Please check your emails from the Acorn Study. If you have not registered your tree or as a participant,
go to: http://www.battaly.com/acorn/register/ If you registered, but your code is not on the list, enter your code into the OTHER Participant box.
Oak Group Oaks are divided into 2 major groups. The Red Oak Group has leaves with pointed tips and includes Red, Pin, Black, and Scarlet Oaks. The White Oak Group has leaves with rounded tips and includes White, Swamp White, Chestnut, and Bur Oaks. See the following for acorn differences:

Tree Measures See the protocol for an explanation of tree measurements, CBH and TTD. This is requested each time you collect data, since we expected the trees will grow over the years of data collection. http://www.battaly.com/acorn/protocol.pdf
